I just got my 3rd clevis pin installed today. Since the install, I have NOT HAD A GRIND YET. I still have a little noch in 2nd once in a while but absolutly NO GRIND YET . Let Keep our fingers crossed.

This is the newest version of clevis pin which is suppose to be longer than the 2nd version. I don't think there is a part number yet.

I will keep everyone posted.

 

The dealer also adjusted the clutch and its soo much smoother. Also, the contact point on the clutch is lower.

 

I drove my car around all day today. My tranny feels so much better and my clutch is much smoother. I still have a little knoch but lot less. I have had NO GRINDS YET.

I think I might have spoken too soon. As I drive the car more & more, I feel more knoch. Its still about 40% better than before. I had 3 grinds today. It wasn't very harsh like the ones that I use to get. Also, the car grinds lot less. I use to get any where from
6-15 grinds per day if not more.

I think I am going to take it back to the dealer this week and see if they could adjust the clutch. I think they might have adjusted my clutch too low.

Is there anyone out there that can confirm if there is a 3rd tranny out as of 10-1-03. From what I found out there wasn't but than again, no one knew about the 3rd clevis pin.
