HELP!~ gas gauge fail

Default HELP!~ gas gauge fail

recently my gas gauge is not in working condition. i also try my friend's cluster and it still fail. even i have full tank of gas, it still shows that im have a empty tanks. anyone know what happened?

Assume that the problem is the main fuel level sensor. Its a float that works similar to the float in a toilet tank.

can i change it from the top of the trunk or i need to drop the gas tank from the bottom?

I believe you can do it with the tank in the car. There's plenty of room behind the storage bins/sub plate.

Default i have the same problem

i just drive 200 miles and fill my gas tank, but i would like to fix it. i think you need to order the hole pump which cost $300
