Default Can a faulty APP sensor be linked to a P2135 code?

I've replaced my throttle body, cleaned the maf, and rechecked the connections to the ecu. However, I am still getting the p2135 code once in a while. This leads me to think that maybe it is a bad accelerator pedal sensor. I am not getting a code directly for a faulty APP though. I am only getting the p2135 code. So could a bad APP cause a p2135 code or am I just wasting my money replacing it?

Definitely could, Here's a little bit from the FSM. Sorry but I copied and pasted them out of order but you should be able to get the picture.

After you replaced the throttle body, did you do all of the re-learn procedures?

Yes I've done the relearn a few times. The code seems to pop up out of no where.

Thanks Zazz! the FSM you posted really helped. Placed the order for the APP and hopefully it will be the solution
