Default clutch....

so i have a 6sp/mt, and my clutch doesn't need to be pressed in when i start the car... wtf.... is that a sign of a burnt out clutch or what?

maybe a bad/broken sensor? do you have/had one of those remote start things put in?

nah, but i dont know if one has ever been put on it... and i am having my new clutch installed 2marrow so its all gravy

Has it always been this way? Did you buy it used?

I did this to my previous car, just disconnected the clutch pedal depressed sensor, cut the wire, and made a closed circuit so I could start the car without pressing the clutch pedal in. Just make sure the car isn't in gear when you try to start it if your not pushing the pedal in. Otherwise... that's going to be embarrassing and could be some property damage involved or worse...

hahah, ya i bought it used and after the clutch swap it still does it, so i assume thats what the guy before me did
