Ac condenser
I got into a front end accident a few weeks back, and I have two nice size wholes in my AC condenser. I ordered a new one. How hard are they to install yourself? If anyone has done it and tips would be great! Thanks
I can't comment on the ease of install on the Z itself, although a quick glance says that it can't be too tough - much like going after your radiator - might be able to get it by removing the front bumper?
What I did come in here to mention was that no matter how easy/hard it is to install, don't forget to take the car to a reputable mechanic and have the AC system fully evacuated and the recharged - and if you have the time/spare cash - get some dye in there to double check for leaks after your install. Unfortunately, for this situation, those little AC recharge cans won't do the trick and will only further damage the system.

^ True, it is a crime - although if he already has two holes in the condenser from an accident that punctured the system, he couldn't have helped it if it leaked out, which it most likely did
I was in a front end fender bender in my older car, and punctured the condenser - I did everything I can to try and stop the "hisssssssss" of the freon coming out but sometimes you can just be SOL.

Didn't take it to a shop because I wanted to put a decent amount of aftermarket parts on it. I got a full vile side with the extra money. And I figured out how to do the AC condenser. It's fairly easy. I just didn't know a lot about the AC lines. I wish I would of done a DIY because I didn't see one on here. But my airbags blew all sorts of stupid stuff from a 15 mph oops. BUT I get to play with my car and learn a lot at the same time.
I was def SOL
