Default A/C Problem Please help

the fan motor of my car went out and i got it replace. now it is blowing air, but not cold air. when i try to turn the a/c on, the power lights up but no cold air is coming out. i brought it to the mechanic, they said the compression is good, the clutch for the a/c thing is good and the fuses are good. they said they will give me a call once they find out the problem. what seems to be the problem here? wiring in the dash?

Section ATC of the service manual has all the info you should need to find and fix the problem.

could it be the wiring on the dash? cuz i dont really use my a/c to notice when it actually happened. maybe when the time we were installing the new sterio system on the dash. the mechanic i brought it to couldn't figure out whats wrong with it.

The Z has a ton of factors that affect the AC operation. A general mechanic will not know the possible causes. Take it to a Nissan specific tech and I'm sure they will be able to figure it out. For example, the AC turn itself off at high RPM operation, very low RPM operation, too high pressure and too low pressure in the AC lines, on certain trouble codes, high engine temps... and the list goes on and on.

Are you saying that it worked before the radiator fan was replaced, but not after ?

BTW the fan not returning a signal will do it... check the two connections.
