bigdog-

would you suggest i go straight to a lawyer and bypass the arbitration/BBB process. I'm a little concerned because I got my preordered Z back on 9/17/2002 so I'm worried that I am running out of time.

I would look for a lawyer first, the quicker do file the better off you are. The case would be from the date you file, the time will be irrevelent once you file, you just need to do it within the lemon law period. It will probably go beyond that time but that won't matter as long as you have filed.

I am also pre-order and have though about the lemon law with all the problems. I know the Cali. law is 3x fix for one thing, but I have a lot different problems. Too long to list. Would it be possible to just get another Z from Nissan I love my car would not want money back just my Z to have no problems. I pay a lot of money a mo. How would they like to be sent 3/4 of the monthly payment for all the headaches i 'm going through.

Thanks for the info. I do love this car but it has too many problems. I just took a 2200 mile road trip to Florida and back and now I am having the grinding in third gear problem. Time to get the case started. I should have done this months ago, but kept giving Nissin the benefit of the doubt that they would do right.

Iam now the proud owner of a 2004 sunset lemans touring model. It took a long time, but I must admit the laywers were the way to go. I basically just talked to them on a weeklybasis and kept saying no and Nissan finally met me at a point that I was happy wiht the deal. Good luck to all, now time to thinkk about mods.
bigdog,

How's your 2004 Touring model doing? Any issues with the car? Congrats on getting a new car.

for the record I just want to say that I am very happy for those of you who have had a positive experience with NNA. I wish I could say the same.

SO Far so good, everything seems like it is breaking in nicely. Tranny was a little choppy at first but seems like it is smoothing out. To tell you the truth, I am really happy and glad I am still in a Z. Tint is coming next week, and sunday is mod day, Installing my new Borla TD exhaust and AEM CAI. So next week I will be enjoying even more.

BTW 924 mile on the car.
