I know they're talking about. Once warm things smooth out or if you drive aggressively right off the start - its ok at higher revs. Personally, this car has one of the crappier manuals in a sports car that I have come across in a long long time. I am planning to change the entire clutch of my 07 with 18K miles, should be a big improvement in feel and function.

i agree . . im sorry to report that the Z's tranny is not its strong point . . my last manual focus svt had a gem of a transmission (made by getrag) . . it sliced through shifts like butter . . . .

I have the same issue:

- 07' 350 Z HR with roughly 50000 km. The issue began at 15000 km.
- A few little jerks when starting with cold engine in the range of 1500-2000 rpm or...
- A hard jerk (same conditions, same range), then OK.

Using Mobil1 5-50.

I'm reading the link above for a solution...

whoa whoa 5-50

apparently the issue is the oil.

try using a different weight, preferably 5w30 and see if it changes?

mine only started doing this right when i switched to mobil 0-40. going to switch to castrol edge 5w30

O man I'm having the same problem and posted a new thread I have same car as you same year base 6 speed manual and my car has been doing the exact same thing for about 4 months now I'm thinking of taking it to carmax where I bought it 2 years ago I still have the warranty a lot of people keep saying it's the tranny but the car feels good when going through the gears I'm going to change my spark plugs soon and see if that fixes the issue
