Hey everyone,
I haven't been on here for a bit, due to work and traveling for work. I'm experiencing a weird issue with my Z. It occurs once to twice a week. My car won't start, it turns over (not a starter issue) but the engine won't actually turn over. I've been experiencing this for a few months now. I had the Crank Shaft Sensor replaces twice (Spit out a code for the crank shaft sensor). This issue continued to occur after the Crank Shaft Sensor was replaced and I took it to the dealer. They did a diagnostic and the code for the sensor did not appear again. They did a full diagnostic on my entire car and can't find the problem. It takes around 9-10 tries for my car to start and I have to pause it in between trying to start it or else it'll take much much longer. No one can figure out the issue and I'm trying to see if anyone else has experienced this
My car:
2005 Touring 350z 6 Speed
51,000 Miles
Mods:
JWT intake (Installed in 2006) and no other engine mods.
Help or Recommendations:
Much appreciated

i know my car won't start with the spare key. could be the sensor in the key emobilizing the car because it doesnt get a good signal.
i could also be not even close to right. just an idea.

You don't have any type of radio frequency device on your key chain or somewhere else in the car by any chance? Like a speed pass for tolls or for buying gas? Those things can play havoc with the anti-theft key chip. Just a thought.

I'll have to switch keys out and give that a try for sure!!
I got easy pass, and I keep that in the little glove box under my elbow, maybe I should take that in and out of the car lol.
It's just a very difficult thing to deal with because I know there is an issue, but my private mechanic and the dealer are both clueless
