Default Anybody else with flawless performance?

I see tons of postings about things that have gone wrong with the car and can't help wondering if I'm the only one whose car has been absolutely flawless. No feathering, no grinding, no notchiness, no gas lid issues, no seat fraying, no window streaks, no bouncy ride. Nada, nil, 0 problems (other than I have to work and can't drive it more often). I'm 3.5 months into it and haven't had one single thing go wrong. I agree the paint could use a little less orange peel, but every new car I see has the same problems so I couldn't care less.

Anybody else or am I just lucky?

How many miles do you have on the car? Is it a 04?

It's an '03 and I've only got about 3K on it but have been in and out of it hundres of times given that it goes to/from work, to/from lunch and to/from anywhere else. It has yet to see an interstate or any distance on a highway so they have all been relatively hard driving, stop and go and very twisty (I take a road to work affectionaly known as "snake road" for it's twistiness) miles with constant up and downshifting through the corners. I can understand no feathering at that distance, but given the abuse I give it on a daily basis, I'd expect the transmission and other issues to have surfaced by now.

You're probably only going to see posts from people with problems. The people like myself who've had no problems are too busy driving and enjoying the car to spend time posting. By the way I've got 10K on my DB Touring and I think the car is great!!

I still have the window streak and I got the feathering "fixed" at the local dealer. Other than those two minor issues, the car has been flawless for me.

The only problem I had was "Tire Feathering". The TSB was performed by the dealer two weeks ago. It appeared at about 9k miles. I didn't watch for it everyday. I did notice the car was getting loud (tire noise). Other than that the car is perfect! Fliped 11k yesterday. I love this car!

Regards!

I have about 6,000 on my Z and do have the window streak. That is it to date; however, the car seems to be pulling slightly to the right recently, so perhaps there is an alignment problem. At this point it is barely noticeable so I waiting to see if this is something I imagine or real.

Talking Finally a nice post about our lovely cars.

Proud owner of a 03 350Z black track, with all the options NAV, even had leather seats installed before I picked it up( wife's don't do cloth), total window sticker 42,000. VIN last digits #0253
the only problem that I ever had was feathering on my tires which the Springfield dealer said they are replacing them for free. That was more than two months ago but I am too busy ENJOYING my car to bother taking it back to them (eventually I will) so far no ratles, no idles problems, no window greasing, some times I get the crazy window going, when u hit the auto window up and it goes half way down by itself, which is kind of funny, BUT I DON"T CARE as long as it goes up again.Sorry for the long post but I really love my car, my friends love my car,GIRLS love the car, I have it for more than a year, and it has been at the dealer once, for the tires.
Nissan builts great cars, so far in my list:
87 300z twin turbo
89 maxima
2000 maxima SE
2003 3.5 altima
2003 350z track the baby in the family..!!!
2000 v6 mustang Great car too
2003 GT mustang lots of gas to drive this one

2003 Track

Just under 7000 miles when I put it up for the winter.

No problems. No grease, no tires issues, no nothing.

Now if someone could just do something about winter in MN so I could drive it year round.........

Have had my Super Black Performance 350Z for 14 months and have had no problems. Car runs like a swiss watch. Did have the window streak but it appears to be going away over time. No issues with tire feathering, grinding gears etc. Have close to 6000 miles.

I've got an 04 SB with 1400 miles on it so far. I have had only one problem since I bought the car. Since day one I've noticed that the gas peddle stops after about 4 inches of travel. I push harder and harder and it just doesn't go anywhere......Anyone else have this same issue?

Other than that I love the car. Just wish the gas peddle issue would get fixed. Anyone see a TSB on it yet?

c'mon people. He said post if you've had flawless peformance. I counted 6 of you in this thread who broke that little rule
You posted something like "had window streak but car is flawless." "tires feathering, other than that flawless". Those werent the exact quotes but you get the picture (not singling anyone out). MOST of the '03 350zs have some problems. If you don't have the problems, you either:
A) Got lucky. One of the VERY VERY few with a flawless '03 Z
B) The problems dont bother you enough

btw maurico1, there is no such thing as an '87 300zx twin turbo (unless it was custom )

I have a 04 touring roadster with just under 3k miles with absolutley no problems. Paint finish is flawless, no pin holes in top and runs like well you know.....and no tickets. Im also waiting or wondering after reading so many threads with problems. Will count my blessings .....this car is one of them.

03 CS Track, born April 2003, now at 7000 miles, the only problem is window streaks. Only have to take it back to the dealer for regular oil changes. no tire feathering, no alignment problems. The transmission works fine, but it is simply not as refined as other manuals that i have driven.
