Tire Feathering
I have over 12,600 miles on the odometer and i am starting to hear noises from my tires when slowing down below 30mph. I guess i am getting the syndrom of the feathering tires. I havent gone to the dealer yet or talked to NNA about it, so i am wondering how i should go about getting new tires, who should i talk to first (my dealer or NNA), what i should say to my dealer so they dont stupidly just rotate the tires, and what i shouldnt tell them either.
I WANT NEW TIRES !!!!
I WANT NEW TIRES !!!!
Ok here's an update on the wrong tire screw-up going back a few pages.
I called my NNA customer rep on Friday 11/14 (it's been 2 weeks) to see if she had any news on the RE 04 replacement. She had to call me back later on in the day with an update....
I hear back from her around 5:30 pm on Friday to infom me that the parts mgr was still using the wrong "code" for the OEM tires. So once again they were going to order the wrong freaking tires - she corrected the parts mgr and finally the correct tires were ordered. She also informed me that the tires were back ordered (no duh) and did not have a ETA as to when they will be in stock. I express my concern for my safety and that the Z was used a daily driver. She understood my concern and could do NOTHING more....
This is total BS. I've been a good little consumer and tried to do this the nice way. Well, I'm going to ask for her supervisor and demand a replacement ASAP.
Any advice before I call and raise hell???
At what cost will we get this corrected? A life, a family, what? What will it take Nissan? I swear if something happens to either myself or my family while driving this car (IE accident due to tires) I will not stop till I own part of the company.
NISSAN if you reading this you need to RECOGNIZE, STEP UP and DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!
