Default UR pulley squeel ?

How many people have belt squeel during cold starts with UR pulleys ? If so has anyone found a fix for it? Or is it as simple as adjusting the belts tension.

No squeel here. Just put them in two days ago. However, I am going to change to a shorter A/C belt. I don't like it that the belt adjuster is almost to the top with the recommended belt.

Regards!

My belt squeel is so bad, my neighbor called me to say I woke his kids up!! I will address the problem today as I've only had them on for a couple days.

could someone post the part numbers on the best belts out there to get to prevent this nasty squeal?

I still have not gotten my belts (not sure which ones to get!) so my pulleys are sitting in the garage!

anyone?

I thought that the K040353 was a little long. It took the tension screw all the way to the top. So I changed over to the K040350. It's 1/4 inch shorter.

It's Easy, Tighten the Belt Yes, really it's that easy... Out of all the UR pulleys sold for the 300s, every one that squeeled was fixed by the customer adjusting the tension. DONE, and DONE!!!

and if you run out room for tension adjustment, then get a shorter belt.

Does that shorter belt work? My tensioner is maxed out and I am squealing like crazy.
