Default *HELP* RPM Gauge

Hey guys...i need some advice on how to solve my problem. The RPM is now sitting at 3000 and for some reason the needle is stuck in that position while i'm driving. Its a 6MT and i've never seen anything like this happened before. First time it happened was about a month ago and later it worked normally on its own and now yesterday its doing it again and now its pretty much stuck on 3000. Is there anyway i can reset it myself? or am i pretty much screwed and replace the whole unit?

Sounds like either heat made it expand to the point where it gets "sticky", or its just fcuked. I know this happens on my roadster when the sun beats on my tach and its over 90 degrees.

Did you ever find a fix for this?

I have the same problem on my 6mt too.
It only last a few miles down the road. Still just as much annoying.
