Default MAF sensor covered under extended warranty?

I got my car w/ the extended bumper to bumper warranty but just recently got the P0112 code for intake air temp sensor. I tried resetting the ecu doing that manual procedure but couldn't even get my CEL light to blink. I gave up and tried disconnecting the battery and it still didn't reset. I have yet to check all the wires for continuity/correct voltage output, etc but is something like this covered?

They all vary. Either read your policy or call the administrator of the warranty plan.
