Default Extended Warranties

Im actually looking for an extended warranty, i was wondering if you have any recommendations. I'm looking for a legit company that i can deal with and have no headaches. The dealer that i got the car from told me that there is a company that if i pay 150 down payment and 100 dollars a month for a year that it will cover me for bumper to bumper for only 24k miles or 2 years. plus a deductible of 100 dollars. Is this a good deal?

Ps. My car has 88.5k Miles on it and he said that they can only accept me before i hit 89,999. So i need to make a decision soon.

Thank you in advance everyone

It sounds shady. That's pretty cheap for a car with nearly 90k miles

I'm in the car biz and I sell warranties, of course.

I deal with a company by the name of C.A.R.S.(complete automotive repair services). If you go to their website they can refer you to a dealer that sells their product.

They pay the shop direct with no prepayment by you, then waiting for them to pay you after reviews of the repairs.

The prices are more than fair

$100 deductible across the board.

Here's an example warranty:

3 years Value Plus Limited(most affordable bumper to bumper style warranty)
Unlimited miles up to 200,000 miles.
I sell it for $1000 and that has a little meat in it($200-$300)

They also offer a pay as you go called Independence which is pretty much bumper to bumper. It's $0 down(watch for dealers collecting money down because they pocket it) and $39.95/month plus tax. The warranty lasts as long as you let them keep taking the money out of your account monthly. This warranty can be cancelled at any time. You just have to call 7 days before the next withdrawl and cancel it.

Hope this helps a little. PM me with questions or if you need some more help.

^ That doesnt sound like too bad of a deal. I'm also in the car biz, but selling. I know our warranty is a tad higher, though.
