and im curious as to why my passengers airbag went off but not mine?!

the tree was dead center of the car

The airbags are designed to go off only when necessary.

Did you eat steering wheel? If not, then the airbag wasn't necessary.

 

tree hit dead center of car, force evenly distributed. and i smokeeeed my head on the steering wheel ahahhaha.
and the front was pritty mashed in. mabe a fault

hahahah perhaps. I notice my350z.com posters are bunch of jokers!
umm no it wasnt. i did some reading and i think it was because my passenger was not wereing a seatbelt. and my pas seatbelt doent work anymore i think the pretensioners went off or soemthing.

i read there are 2 modes for airbag deployment, fast and slow depending on the type of crash and if the seatbelts are on or off..

i think mine didnt go of because i had my seatbelt on
