To all of you that have changed the HID bulbs in your Z. Did you have any trouble removing this screw off weather cover?

Right now I'm trying to get the weather cover off of the back of the headlight. I keep trying to open it by turning it counterclockwise but the damn thing will not come off..

Any ideas on how to go about getting the cover off without driving the car to Nissan and paying $167 to remove it and put a new bulb in?
