Default air bags

Well, so fed up with my air bag light blinking and im almost at the point where i just wanna disable them. I mean, if i were to get in a minor crash, im sure i could fix it. If air bags deploy, im fcked. There any way to just disable them? Should i? Yay or Nay?

I've tried the whole process of putting it to diagnosis mode and back to user mode, didn't turn it off.

Would this plot backfire? i've heard with that light blinking, the air bags could deploy at anytime.

enlighten me. plz and thank you.

Find out what code its giving you. It could be a bad sensor somewhere.

from what i've read on the write ups on here, i believe its a RH Seat Belt Tensioner or something like that. The light would be on for 7 seconds (after putting ignition to on), off for 3 seconds, on for 2 then just blink once and repeat itself.

This being my first Z, i don't exactly kno what im doing. Didn't have this problem with my old s14 ><

i guess the newer the car, the more sensors it has lol

Instead of bastardizing your way around the issue, and risk your own safety why not scan the code and fix the issue? Every airbag issue has a code and a procedure in the factory service manual (which you can download online) to determine what is causing that code. It could be any number of issues causing it, but the factory service manual gives you detailed, step by step instructions on how to find the issue and then you can solve it the way it should be solved
