Just as the headline of this thread says. My driver side door latch seems to be failing, but only when i'm opening the car from the outside. Sometimes it will open on the first try and sometime i'd be wrestling with it for a while before it catches and then open. I'm thinking om opening the door panel to see what is the problem, but before i attempt that,, i'd wanna know if im looking at an easy fix or a "head scratcher"

 

having the same issue. wont open no matter how much i wrestle it now ive been rolling my windows down with the fob to get in. what a pain in the ***

 

i have the same isuue but in my case both doors cant be opened from outside some cars workshops said that the problem in the connection between the latch & the locker, it seems like manufacturing failure. pls when u fix it tell us how u fix it? was it difficult or nt?

 

Guess its only 3 of us with that sane problem. Well Im going to tear my door open tomorrow and see what I can do. I'll inform you guys on my success or failure lol. I'll try to take pictures.
