Default Broken Windshield

Okay, I searched around the forum and there was one thread talking about replacing the windshield. I got a pretty big crack from a rock , so its going to get a replacement. I'm still pretty ticked off. Anyway, I am getting the windshield replaced by a professional, but the thing is that I don't know if he is familiar with a 350z. So I am asking you all do they need to remove the A pillars? Any other suggestions or methods would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, I've gotten my windshield replaced twice already. Just make sure that when he is removing the A pillar, he needs to be careful; otherwise the tabs will just snap right off.

Agree. A shop such as Safelite AutoGlass is familiar with all vehicles, and their technicians are certified by NWRA - National Windshield Repair Association. The windshield can be successfully replaced without access to the inside of the car. Its pretty simple.

The shop here in Az is called T & S glass works. Anybody heard of them? Also, how do those A pillars look like? Thanks!

Okay, got the windshield replaced today. That's the good news. The bad news is that the left side pillar tabs came off. Like half of the tab. Not the whole thing. I knew something like that was going to happen. On the brightside, the left a pillar was undamaged and he took it out perfectly. I will update later on the pics. Any suggestions? I mean is that tab going to affect anything? It is held on my 8 screws, so why the big deal? Thanks!
