Default Cam shaft position sensor problems!!

The car is a 2003 z with 84k miles 6 speed. I changed the spark plugs on it yesterday, every thing went smooth except the dumb bracket locations. started the car every thing is fine and smooth. turned the car off. 2 hours later i started it and i noticed the SES, VDC oFf, and slip light are all on. i took it to autozone and checked the code. its for the camshaft pos sensor A bank 2. so i bought a Cam pos sensor from autozone for the rear one. (i assume bank 2 is the rear) its a green plug on the passenger side correct? i unplugged the connector, took the 10mm bolt out and the damn thing wont come off. my hand and fingers hurt from trying to remove this thing. is there any special way this sensor can be removed? and is sensor A bank 2 the one on the passenger rear side? thank you for all the help. the car Cranks longer than usual but runs and drives fine. The acceleration IS slower than before.
