Default Camchaft sensor difference 03-05

Hi guys,

Got an 05 engine that's been stuck into my 03 350Z, the mechanic noticed that the camshaft senor plugs aren't interchangeable (needs some tweaking to fit), does anyone know if these work the same way and can be adjusted accordingly or do I need to swap out the harness?

when i did my buddies swap, we had to switch over the harness, beacause the new one had different cam sensor plugs and different o2 sensor plugs as well.

I looked at it and the plug is not massively different and could be adjusted if possible (or replaced with a new plug) , if the cables in the plug behave the same way I see no need to replace the actual plug itself (harness) the O2 sensors (4) plugs into the headers (exhaust manifold) and catalytic converters so they shouldn't be affected by the swap of engine surely?

Anyone else has any experience in the engine swapping field?
