75k maintainance -HELP please thanks.
Newbie here: I tried the search unsuccessfully. I want to know what I really need to do for the 75-80k mile maintenance? I refuse to pay the stealerships, they wanted to charge me $100 just to look at my airbag light blinking...
anyway, could someone either point me to another post or just list what I should do to preserve my baby...
and while I am at it anyone want to tell me about the airbag reset or if in fact I have a problem with the air-bag. I get the sense that they are programed to go off so you have to bring them in and pay the $100+ just for them to pull the code.
Thanks in advance

Try this.................
Airbag Reset Procedure
1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON.
2. Air Bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, the turn ignition switch OFF within 1 second after the lamp turn off.
3. After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice. (Perform 3 times in total.)
5. Turn Ignition switch ON.
6. The SRS lamp has been reset it.
If this doesn't work, I'm afraid you will need to visit your dealer.

Inspect belts, change oil and inspect other various important components of your vehicle? I mean, there's really not too much to the Z. It's a solid and reliable vehicle for the most part.
