what year is your car? and how many miles on it?

I had the same issue, even in my 08' at 60k. - everything is working well and then bam, one day the window just wont go up. I smacked the door panel a couple of times and got it to come up. I replaced the window motor and it works perfectly. Chances are, its the motor. They're not difficult to replace and there is a great how-to on replacing it on here. Also included are the instructions to reset the motor when you replace it. If you cant find it, let me know and I will try and find it.

When you get the new motor, its a packaged deal so you aren't just replacing the DC motor, but the whole thing.

its an 04 got right around 70k on it.... i was hoping i could smack it a bit and get it to go up but no luck at all....and thank you very much i will check the how-to section or putting the new one in...

i ordered one from rockauto.com they seemed to be the cheapest... but it wasnt to hard to get to it so im gonna hope i can get it back together with minimal trouble!

hold the window switch to wind it up while you open and close the door. Mine is doing this now and that is what I had to do to get it to go backup.
Or when you get out, shut the door and turn the key to lock position and hold to where the window goes up.
could be that mine just has a loose connection though. might be a different problem than yours. but worth a shot.
