Default What is this sound...?

Hi guys, I am new to forums!
Well hopefully this is the right section...
I have 05 350z and

I am getting this sound in brakes and tranny...

For brakes: its EXACTLY this sound
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KvcvM7hhjI
Could it be the the dust shield? and sometimes I hear squealing in my brakes with that sound.. in the rear passenger side.

And for the tranny. Is the 05 just loud?
I did alot of research on this, but I am still not convinced...
Pushing in the clutch at low rpms in low gear (1st to 2nd or 1st to neutral)
makes clunking noises or rattling.
Is it normal? i heard its the throw out bearing and it isnt a problem..

Thank you

The brake noise is most likely the squealers to let you know the pads are worn and need to be replaced.

The clunking noise when you're slowing down isn't the throwout bearing, and it isn't normal. The low frequency makes it sound like a drive shaft between the differential and one of the rear wheels.

Yo Dan, I'm having the same issue, but far far worse. It's the rear diff for sure, or more specifically, one of your bearings in the rear diff. This is due to either the bearing just wearing out or someone changed your rear diff oil incorrectly.
