I have never driven a manual transmission with short throw before so i never knew what it feels like.

As i was driving the other day, i depress the clutch to change gears and noticed the length is shorter (meaning the release of the clutch is halfway from where it used to be). I thought that i had somehow, accidently put the car in short shift mode and i was able to drive it home normally. After i got home and parked, i tried to depress the clutch again to put the car in 1st shift, this time there was no pressure on the clutch and i can't change gears. HELP ME please what is wrong with my car \:\(

Also, i am able to turn the car one even though i didnt depress the clutch

 

Is there resistence on the pedal when you depress it? Is the clutch pedal stuck to the floor? Take off the brake cover (drivers side) and make sure you have fluid in the reservoir and the cap didn't pop off or something stupid like that first.

Any mods done to the clutch, clutch line? Were you sitting in traffic for a while whaen this happened?

 

 

To be honest, I used to have a lot or problems with shifting, not necessarily with the clutch sticking or falling etc, but more of a choppy shifting feeling, like the car didnt want to go into gear, or it didnt want to come out of a gear. My TWMPerformance short shifter/shift **** combo helped out with this...
