Default free front tires

im in the 22k range with miles on my 350, the noise is so embarassing now with the tire wear and feathering, i was wonder could NISSAN be responcible for accidents involving slipping (rain, snow, etc) when they are fully aware that the tire have bad wear patterens? maybe this could be a good point to bring up when trying to get new tires from your dealer...what do u think?

I think high performance tires on the snow are dangerous no matter what the wear pattern. I don't see much luck going down that path to get new tires, especially when you have 22K on them now and they probably need replacement anyway.

They definately need replacing, and I don't think you'll be able to convince a Nissan dealership to do that. The lifetime of the tires is only going to be 15,000 - 20,000 miles under NORMAL conditions anyway. Our condition is definitely NOT normal. They might prorate them IF you had less than 12,000 / 12 months on them. Why not try a different brand of tires? I was planning on getting Z rated Bridgestone Potenzas when it is time to replace. Now I may get Yokohoma's instead.

I have 14700 miles and just had my local dealer replace my front tires and I think I may be able to justify getting rears as well. The new tires don't match the new fronts and they don't perform like the new ones and thats a saftey issue. I've got my fingers crossed.
