Hello all,

I have a 05 Track Edition. Yesterday I had new brake pads (Carbotech AX6) installed. I did the bed-in yesterday as well and all was OK. In fact, after the bed-in, I stopped by the grocery store and the car started up as usual.

This morning though, nothing... I did a search on this, and saw that some people had immobilizer issues.. I don't think I have this problem. The alarm light stops flashing when I put the key in ACC.

Below video is what's happening when I try to start the car. One thing I noticed, is that the battery level is around 11V, hence my suspicion regarding flat battery.

change the battery

 

take the battery out of the car and take it to autozone. Ask them if they can check your battery and see if it's dead. They will tell you one of 2 things (yes/no) if yes get new battery

11 volts is a dead battery.. did you expect it to be zero?

New battery and you should be good to go. Unless you have an electrical drain or something.
