Firstly - thanks to the forum!! With the detailed instructions and pix i was able to do it in under 90 minutes.
The instructions stopped at the motor removal...
To ease installation:
Bolt the motor to the door panel and feed the wire bundle/grommet all the way through the hole. The gromment installs from the side facing you through to the inside of the door inner panel.
Start the nuts (but do not tighten yet) on the lower window track bolts
Put the cable back in the clip
Line up and install the door panel
Now install the bolts for the upper window track and torque the lower nuts.
Remove the duct tape and clean the residue! (Goo-Gone [tm] or WD-40 works great). If you don't - the window will drag the glue down inside...![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon14.gif)
When doing the reset procedure the door skin/door release is not hooked up yet. After you close the door and do the reset procedure - just pull the cable for the door release to exit the car (it doesn't take much effort).
When installing the switch panel ensure the outboard clips (closest to the door panel) engage & push down to seat it. Then install the screw and cover.
