CLicking in the rear on acceleration

CLicking in the rear on acceleration
Ihavent researched much on this tread but im going to make one.. everytime i accelerate i hear a clicking in the back of my car, it goes away after i accelerate but iss it my rear axle? is it a bad thing, should i be concerned? just ur info would be awesome!! thank you
