Default Alternator change question

I have the bottom cover off, belts off, ect ect...the shorter bolt that holds the alternator on I have removed. But the long one wont come out all the way.

My question is this, do you have to take the freakin radiator fans off to get the long bolt to pull out all the way,, or what do you do to get the bolt all the way out?

I have my car apart in the apartment parking lot and they are probably going to get mad soon. Any quick answers would help.

Thanks guys.

Looks like the long bolt needs to come all the way out.

The service manual section SC says you need to remove the cooling fan.

I guess they could have made the car a few inches longer to make stuff like this easier.
