couple question on electronical
My Fuel open Lid button does NOT work. bothers the crap out of me and its gonna start to ****up the pain if i keep having to pry it open. i see that the little black spring loded **** within the gas lid retracts to let the lid spring open enough to grab it ya know? But when i push the button all i hear is a little tick noise up within the middle or Right side of Dashboard. and the **** doesn't retract. Any info on that would be GREAT
Also, the button right above that for the Traction control doesn't work but im not too worried about that because it wont be drivin in snow.
Main question is the Fluel lid problem. please help
If you have had same problem and know how much it costed to just get it fixed by mechanic or dealer. Let me know the price
thanks.

So neither the fuel lid button nor the VDC button work? Did you pull the trim down to see if everything's plugged in?
Re: the fuel door, if everything's plugged in, then my guess would be a bad actuator. If that's the case, then good luck getting the fuel door open without breaking something. You might want to consider driving it to the dealership or to a shop before it runs out of gas so you can get it fixed.
You can also test the fuel switch/button with a multimeter if you're an optimist. If that's broke, it won't cost as much as an actuator and replacing it is a breeze.

i have been driving for 3 months keep having to pry fuel door open every week for gas but i got it down to where it doesn't even gimme any fight anymore.. but i still hate it and would like to get it fixed.
pull the trim down meaning the panel under steering wheel like where the fuel door Button is? im sure its plugged in because it makes the TICK noise in the upper dash near right side. so im sure the acculator or if it has a relay is broken. just not sure what to get.. and where this part even is within my car lol thats the MAIN problem..

This is what the other end of the actuator looks like:
Previous posts on this forum have indicated you can get to it by removing the jack and other tools, and reaching up behind the trim panel to pull on the plunger.
Please report back if that approach really works.

Someone suggested a while back that you could remove the jack and other stuff from the back of the coupe, and then reach up under the trim panel to get to the actuator.
There were a couple threads over the past two years on people not being able to open the gas filler door, but I wouldn't say it's a common problem.
I'd just like to know for sure (without actually trying it, of course) that you can get to it without taking off the trim panel.
