soft clutch pedal on cold start up...
morning z owners and lovers....i have a lil issue well i hope little..about 2 months ago i had my clutch replaced.its running great no problems other than recently on a cold start up the clutch feels soft like it has air and it goes almost half way down before it engadges.if i pump it a few times with the car started it comes back up and feels normal...also i have that noise that the z is notorious with the clutch pedal pushed in and turn the car off no noise.if the clutch is released and i turn the car off it makes that wierd rattle noise.so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.thanks

idk how to answer the first part of your question but as for the second part, just hold the clutch down when shutting off the car. I hear its common for Zs to do that.

clutch slave cylinders are known to fail on the 07 models. you didnt state what year yours is but sounds like its an 07. there was a recall for certain ones. verify your vin to see if it corresponds.
second problem sounds like the normal flywheel chatter that is known for our cars. nothing to worry about.
