Car dies on de-accelaration
Alright, so the Z has been doing this lately. She will die after de-accelarating from 60+ The oil pressure will go down to just about 0. She will start right back up and if I rev the engine to about 2000 RMP, she has not problem after that. I checked the oil level, battery connection, and fuses. Any thoughts, or has anyone had this happen before? Any advice is much appreciated.

Cass007, I don't really have that much in the Z...Its a 03 and has 118k on it. I have a Power Engineering Throttle Spacer, Cold Air Intake, Aftermarket headers and High Flow Cats.. Thats really it, unless I have a chip in the car I don't know about.. I bought it used and I keep finding things that I didn't know I had.

Is your Z manual? Do you put it in neutral while you coast down? Is it worse when its colder outside, and when the car is cold (I don't know why it would matter, but it seemed to make things worse in my experience)
I've had 2 cars that have done this, a Toyota Corolla and an Acura RSX. I tried cleaning the throttle body, playing around with different things, never found anything that helped. On the plus side, nothing ever got worse, I just either always kept it in gear or kept my foot slightly on the gas. Not ideal..but better than having the car die.
