Default clutch advice

the clutch is almost out on my 350 i bought two months ago, yes, i know i should have had it inspected first. anyways, i took my z to a mechanic and he said i needed a new clutch and to have the flywheel resurfaced, he then told me itd cost about 1400 dollars. i talked with a friend who said he'd help me replace it so now im wondering, what brand and stage of clutch would you recommend for someone who doesnt plan on burning tires on a regular basis? and would it be better to just buy a new flywheel as well?

Can't resurface stock flywheel. If it's in real good shape you *could* re-use it. Stock fly is dual mass and $850!
Check out South Bend clutch..do a search here for info. You can also get the flywheel (single cheaper) with the kit. Make sure you replace the TOB (I assume you have 2006).
