I have 34000 miles on my Z. Today my CEL came on and I checked it. The code was a P0430 which was my cat being below the threshhold. The only mods on my Z are replacing the stock air filters with K&N drop in filters in March and having the resonator cut off and replaced with a straight pipe in early October. I reset the CEL and it went off. Could having the resonator removed and replaced with a section of straight pipe cause the code? I figured since the resonator was down stream from the cats and O2 sensors that replacing it with the straight pipe wouldn't matter. Thanks
