I have been lurking around for a while and finally decided to join... I bout an 06 350z (base) didn't notice anything wrong when i test drove it, but after a couple days i was going into a right and turn, i downshifted and proceeded to turn. About half way through the turn my steering wheel kinda locked up like the tire grabbed something. I thought it was the rims catching the caliper as they were 16s, i bought new rims (18s) and it still does it. My fluid is good and it only does it about halfway through a hard right handed turn when i have weight on the front. Any ideas/suggestions on what this might be and how to fix it?

 

16s on a z anyways mine does it time to time, just gotta replace that old rack
