hi everybody

i just got my first z and notice that the car doesn't have

enough power and lt loose power after 3500 rpm or so and there is no check

engine light and maff sensor is new any advice ?

03 , 60k miles 6mt

I had to read this twice because of the awful grammar. Explain to us with more detail exactly what's going on. Does it die after 3500 rpm, what's the deal?

sorry about my bad grammar no it doesn't die but i fell like i'm driving z with 150 hp !

 

after 3700 or 4k rpm its loosing power just high rpm no torque!

 

Put a turbo on it? j/k but you really have to give up more info. Did it EVER have power above 3500 RPM? How long have you owned it? Why does it have a new MAF sensor? Give us all something to go on, we are not psychics - no power can be the result of an infinite number of things.

 

Are you getting a slip light ? Some dumbass put the wrong size tires on it.


What tail lights are you running ?

 

i wish i could put turbo on it lol i dont know how to explain it but i'm gonna take a video right now so can see how slow it is

 

no slip light and it has 255 on front and 275 on rear and stock tail light i hear

some people had a problem with ebay tail light but mine is stock but has a

after market dvd player and amp , subwoofer in staff

Power without numbers is ambiguous. Find a local Dyno operator. Lets take a look at the numbers.

yea i miss your question man i got the car like this and in the first place i

thought the maff sensor is bad cuz my maxima had a same problem and maff

sensor was bad but after i asked the previews owner he said he already change

the maff sensor on the z

Watched the video, don't see/hear the problem. Perhaps you were expecting more than what the stock Z delivers????? You say you "bought the car this way"? You bought a car with what you feel is a problem? I don't get it......

 

if you watch the video couple times you will see after 4k rmp it doesn't have power like it should before this car i had a bunch of cars with less hp like s2k , mkv rabbit ... and i dont know why i cant feel the 270 hp 350z!

 

How many? Always get a pre-purchase inspection done on any used car. That tells overall and engine health, bumps and bruises, CELs, etc. Your car has 287hp from the factory.
