Angry Computer problems?

I already posted about this, but only one person answered and I don't think they understood what was wrong, or I explained it wrong.

Sometimes when I'm driving around in my Z the air conditioner will randomly go on full blast when it's set to off, and the only way to fix it is to turn the car off and back on. Then usually about a few days later it'll do it again. It also seems to lose a ton of torque when this happens. It just feels really sluggish and un responsive.

The only thing that temporarily fixes it is if I reset the computer, but that's just temporary for a few days. The only thing the mechanic said BEFORE I bought the car was that the fuel injectors needed to be cleaned (maybe the power problem), so I did that and the problem still keeps happening.

Anyone ever had this problem before? Or know what the hell might be wrong?

Full blast heat or AC ? I've heard of this from 2 different things.

1. Outside temp sensor or wiring to it
2. Faulty climiate control ****.

I would probably start with finding a cheap/used climate control assembly. Maybe even borrow one if possible.

If air conditioning system is erratic than this is a air conditioning problem:

a. Get yourself a service manual, and study the function of each component. This may help isolate the problem.
b. Take the Z to a air conditioning mechanic.

Aftermarket stereo? Messing with the connections behind HVAC causes weird things. I have
oil, speedo and HVAC gremlins.

Even if you don't have an aftermarket stereo, you may need to check the connections behind the panel. If the previous owner had a stereo and removed it hastily when trading/selling the car, you may have a loose connection. It could also be the switch itself. Start by check that all connections are good.. Don't just look at them. Unplug them, clean them, and plug them back in. Next, bust out a DMM and check your switch.

All I know is that the guy put the stereo in himself, so I should probably check all that. And it does both heater and air conditioner, depending what I have the dial set to. The head unit I think is stock... the mp3 is a kenwood touchscreen, not sure if that's stock.
