Sometimes when driving down the interstate I will go WOT and it pulls fine then when I shift it just does not accelerate anymore. The rpm stays the same and it just doesn't go anymore until I let off the gas and accelerate normally. I am getting the code P0137 and took it to get the o2 sensor replaced and it drove fine until the next day when the code came back and the problem still persists. I took it back to them and they rechecked the connections and whatnot and it happened yet again. Eventually, I decided to take it to Nissan and they told me that it indeed was a faulty o2 sensor. After having them replace it the code comes back on and it still happens. The problem started one day after work when my car wouldn't start and came to find out it was the connection to the battery was loose. I doubt that would be the cause of anything but just thought i'd add that.

The mods had also been on the car well before this started happening. Sometimes it'll pull hard to redline in 3rd gear or whatnot then after shifting and still going foot to the floor it then goes nowhere the revs stay the same and the speed is the same. Other times I will try and WOT and it will accelerate but with what feels like half the power.

The first time they changed the o2 sensor it worked perfectly fine for a day then went back to what it was doing. Nissan saying that the place i took it to originally put in a bad o2 sensor clearly wasn't it since they put in another brand new one. They even changed all the connections. I guess im going to have to have another more in depth check.

Bringing back an old thread, but I thought I would let everyone know that I have gotten the problem fixed. It ended up being the ECM. I took it to Nissan to have it replaced since it was not processing correctly(from what they told me). It was going to run me a little over $900 dollars to get it fixed but they later called and told me it was still under warranty for another month. Since it had an 8 year warranty and the car was purchased in 2004 I kind of got lucky and had to pay nothing. The car is back to running like it was before the problem existed. I am no longer experiencing any of the problems!
