Default Need some advice -MAFS

I have an injen cold air and have had it for a while always with the low rpms problem and such. does anyone know a safe way for me to clean my MAFS and what i should use to do it? thanks in advance any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Are you sure it's the MAFS?

Just take it out, disconnect it and gently swish it in a bag of rubbing alcohol or something like that. Check the writeups on other forums about cleaning it, namely club18t, where their cars eat maf sensors like I do cookies.

Just ensure it's cleaned in a product that leaves no residue after it dries. Ether comes to mind, but rubbing alcohol should work fine also.
