So, i just got my car back from the dealership. Engine is mis-firing, shaking like HELL, there's a vacuum leak in the manifold because the Kinetix V+ Plenum that i swapped over to the new motor doesn't have a gasket anymore, reused the oem plenum gasket, (this was told to me by the dealership) they didn't want me to keep the loaner car anymore..so they made me return it and pick up my car and basically said they couldn't do anymore with it) CEL is blinking to indicate to STOP driving my car around anywhere...
I guess what my question is:
Would the Kinetix V+ plenum without it's original gasket that it comes with really cause that much vacuum leak to do this?
Would it be advisable to get a new Uprev reflash dyno tune on my ecu considering its a brand NEW motor?
What else can be done to help this situation? (car is no longer driven)
I've ordered a new gasket from Motordyne to replace the original gasket that comes on the Kinetix. The Kinetix V+ plenum actually comes with it's only built-in gasket so they told me if i wanted a new gasket, i would have to sent the plenum out to them and they would have to put a new one on and send back. This is why i opted to order a Motordyne gasket and try that instead...hope it works...and i hope this will solve my issue...

I had similar problem on a customer's Z... I bought a roll of cork gasket and cut one out... fixed it right up for about $16... problem is the bolts slowly start backing out and will make a whistle noise (just tighten it back up and the whistle goes away)
IMO I hate that plenum for this very reason and wanted to throw the plenum in the trash until I figured this out...
