Default 2008 TPS issue??

the tire pressure light is on constantly in my 08, after checking all 4 with 3 diff gauges. I have a question, maybe dumb ?

If my rear tire size has changed, even on stock rims (ie. 255s vs stock 245s)
will this increase in internal volume affect the reading of the TPS, causing the D@mn light to be on all dang day?

Also, I was told that some larger tire shops could "recalabrate" this.
Any truth to this?

Any help?

One or more of your sensors is dead.

yess, i read that post, thank you.

yet my question still remains regarding the diff size tires, correct pressure will be a diff volume in a bigger tire, will this have any effect on tpms

If the light comes on about 30 minutes after driving randomly you have a bad sensor.

Volume has nothing to do with the sensors. They work on any size tire, air or nitrogen, etc.

What model # of TPMS do we usually get for 07+? Can I use this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPMS-OEM-Tyr...ht_3001wt_1396

40700-JA01B? Ones I got on my Z are blue and are the 40700-CD001.

Volume means nothing..they only measure the PRESSURE. Sure, a larger tire takes more air to reach a given pressure, but the sensor only *sees* the PRESSURE.
