Default please help!

please help guys i have recently post this here before but still has the problem. i recently just got a new transmission put in my 2003 nissan 350z and a custom cat back exhaust with stock muffler. now my car is idling at 300-400 rpm and when on a red light my steering wheel is vibrating a lot. i went back to the transmission place and they said nothing is wrong with transmission. the transmission does feel a lot smoother. i did a ecu reset already but still no help.

please help before i bring the car to the stealership.

thanks a lot guy

Could you please take a picture of this red light on the steering wheel? I don't recall ever seeing red light on a Z steering wheel.

3-400 rpm for idle is too low. that would certainly make things shake. its a
v6 not an inline 6.. raise your idle to 5-650 or whatever the actual is supposed to be.. i just know 3-400 is very low and will get lopey and shake, bring it to a dealer for a consult scan, they can do it there, possibly for free.

^^^This. The low idle will cause it to vibrate. Take it to your dealer.

Also, this is the Next time, post stuff like this in the tech forum.

The big questions is "why is your idle that low" when somebody was working on your transmission. Sounds like they touched, altered or damaged something and didn't know how to correct it.

Unless you can follow this procedure...

https://my350z.com/forum/6008226-post2.html

take it to a dealer.

Just a suggestion. Put a subject in the subject line like

Squeaking brakes

instead of

Help

Need help immediately

or

If you don't help right away I will die!

i just cant get over the diction on these thread titles.. call it male macho pride, but the words " Please help me!" will never be uttered from thy lips until im 80, have fallen and cant get up... or im missing a leg in a plane crash landing site.

Other than that, everytime i see one of these thread titles , i think to myself

" AW, sally needs me to open a jar for her".

jajaja.

It IS like watching a train wreck though - even davidV has to open the thread to post his usual smart **** response, lol. If we could only learn to totally ignore threads titled as such, maybe they would cease.
