Default Interior Odor

hey all! I have a 2005 touring roadster. I realized that the car has a very pungent smell on the interior. I just bought the zeotrap to get rid of the smell, but it doen't help at all. Besides getting air fresherner, are there any other ways to get rid of the smell??

I know we don't have cabin air filter on our vehicle.

Dead hooker in the trunk?

You didnt mention having the carpet and seats cleaned, that would be a good start.

Se if there's anyone in your area that can do the ozone treatment. I bought a car that had sat in a barn in Mississippi for 7 years. The car smelled like it had been in a flood. One treatment and it was gone!

There must be something in your vents. There a foaming spray that you can use but I forgot what it's called.

you can buy AC mold spray at any auto parts place.. you close up the car totally, put on the a/c on recirculate and spray the hell out of your cowl vents.

Works perfectly.

Its from running your ac in the summer and then turning your car off without first switching the ac to off ( fan still on) so it can dry the condensers.

My Cadillac blew the fan automatically like 5 minutes after the car was off just to get rid of that.

I would try to figure out the source of the odor before attempting to eliminate it.

+1 to both points

Since this is a roadster it could easily be something that fell into the car and is decomposing somewhere or it could be your A/C
