All 4 tires have slow leaks? TPMS leaking?
Hello,
I just got new wheels (Konig 7.5x18) to replace my stock 8x18's.
Now I have slow leaks coming from all 4. Were they not mounted properly, or is it because I didn't purchase tpms rebuild kits?
They lose about 2-3psi a day.
Thanks for the feedback guys

The probability that you have 4 tires leaking at the same time is about 1000 to 1:
a. Installer used ill-fitting valve stems.
b. Tire size inappropriate and does not seat properly.

Its not tire size...you cant put a 16 or 18 tire on a 17 rim. 16 wont go on without shredding the thing completely. And then it wouldnt hold air at all. 18 would fit right over and you cant even get the bead to sit. Only thing would be half size tires aka like a 19.5 but those are usually trailer tires so thats all rule out....if its all four my money is on tpms.
-either valve core wasnt properly tightened
-the nut wasnt properly tightened or maybe over tightened and cracked the metal stem area
-the grommets are probably corroded and old and now wont seal
Get a bottle of spray, something that bubbles and spray it over your sensor. Just take it DT and get some rebuild kits. They are cheap and SHOULD be done EVERY time your taking a tire off and on. At least its what i recommend! I gave DT two years so trust me!

Rebuild kits are inexpensive.

Regardless, I'm betting it's the TPMS as well.

Only time I've seen this happen was on shitty rims with bad chrome and cheap no-name tires, they were all leaking around the beads. If you bought some made in indonesia tires with the DOT numbers cut out, then odds are you just need to buy some real rubber.

Or you could get the strap kits here:

That's how I had to mount the TPMS sensors on SSR wheels.
