Sometimes my car will start right up and other times, like today, it will turn over and over but won't start. I have heard that this is a semi-common problem with the 350z and could have to do with a NATS antenna read error but was wondering if anyone knew the true reason for this problem and could put me in the right direction for solving it.

 

do you have another key that have a transponder chip in it? i had a similar problem when i had a g35 key right next to my z key. i rarely get that problem anymore after i removed the other key.

 

No I only have the one key on my key chain and it's still doing it. I just had my car re-keyed though because I lost the other set.

 

I've had a cam and crank sensor go bad, but both tossed up the idiot light on the dash board. When that happened, the car was nearly impossible to start.

 

Yeah that's thr problem. It's not throwing any lights on the dash so it's hard to diagnose the problem. I took it to the dealership today so hopefully they'll be able to figure it out.
