Default 2008 Z Crashed & Damaged

im very depress right now, z is my only car i have.
i only have liability coverage so insurance wont take action..
im looking for a shop..and i dont know how much it will cost me
i hope there is someone can fix my 350z for low price..
im planning on order salvage 07-08 350z cuz new parts are expansive and i canlt afford..
so my windshield cracked, radiator&support&fan and headlight and bumper and voth both fenders and hood and aprons, reinforcement bar..all that i can replace by myself with some little help
but the major problem is the front frame and my transmission pushed backward.. cant shift into 2nd, 4th, 6th , reverse gears..

the car cranks but im afraid to start the car because of smashed reinforcement bar could dmg pulley..
im wonder if there is any shop can help me fix all these metal parts for low price
i live near San Jose , CA
if anyone could help, i would be very thankful.

a short clip i took..

You need a shop to look at it and give you a quote. Body shops normally give free estimates. Hopefully its worth fixing. Gotta have that collision coverage...

No insurance - you bite the bullet. With frame and transmission damage this may be a losing proposition. Way too expensive to get the car back on the road. Live and learn.

Another story of someone getting into an accident w/o full insurance coverage.

If you can't afford to put a car on the road properly, then you shouldn't be driving that particular car. In this case, a Z. And especially if it's your only car.

Get a quote and move on. Just be glad you walked away with no problems.

no, i wouldn't and i will never drift on any highway..
i was driving on carpool there was no way to avoid
i was running fine at speed of 65~70 from san jose 880 to 101.. then my z slipped on 101 N.bound near redwood city...

transmission seems fine.. just the sitting isn't right.
i took out the shift panel then i was able to shift the gears..

i have contacted few shops for estimate.. but no replies..
about my insurance i canceled my comprehensive coverage a 6 weeks ago..
i had my full coverage for long time.
yes.. stupid of me why did i cancel it..
btw,,i had another accident 3 weeks ago, other party paid and fixed..

thanks for the tips and headsup..

if anyone know of repair shop for low price

The video is alittle silly...what are you showing us? Also doesn't look that bad if it's just the radiator and front core!

More pics and strat checking junkyards for clips or whole cars!

Good luck

seems like you drove up a curb. But anyways, sorry to hear about the insurance situation. Sometimes the little extra you pay will actually help you out in the long run. As far as the Z, if it's an older model and you didn't pay a lot for it; just let it go and buy another vehicle. The repair cost alone is gonna be relatively high and the car won't drive/feel the same; again, sometimes paying a little more is the better thing to do.

ty all for reply,ya.. shouldve not canceled my 2way coverage.. listen learned...
so today i basically just looked at my suspension and i found left arms are broken
a friendly auto engineer point sent me a picture of this
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater
and gave me free quote:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

2.6k labor?
so i sorta did the math
i found a rear end salvage 08 z33(orange) for 1k+ transportation.
and if i ask him just to repair frame and transsmission and take out dmged metal out parts and parts where i couldnt reach, then labor should be around or less than 1.5k based on $80/hr.
i dont really need the paint job for now so exclude that,
so i might spend around 2k,is it worth to repair?

other than that i can just replace on my own but, is it easy to replace aprons and radiator support and bumper?

need some tips and help, thanks many

I didn't think they made orange in 08? I thought they only made the 07 orange and then the metalic lemans sunset on the earlier models.

Your quote seems really low. Keep in mind that even if you provide the rear clip, unless you are removing the parts needed, that is additional labor cost.

Maybe laws are different in cali, but how can you cancel full coverage on a vehicle unless you had it fully paid off?

Provided that you DID have it fully paid off, kinda sounds strange that you would just all of a sudden cancel the full coverage on it...lol doesnt make sense...

I have just liability+comp on my 04 which is lemon and already been through hell and back with accidents, etc. Too many points on my record and not enough value on the car to be worth my high collision premium.

But min coverage on an 08?? Id be too scared to pull out of my own driveway.
