Default AC/Cooling Fans Electrical Issue?

Two days ago my AC quit running cold. On the way to work in the morning it worked and blew cold air, then on the way home after work only warm or hot air.

I did a function test by hitting the door sensor 10 times which triggers the wipers, lights, and fans. The fans worked so I know they haven't malfunctioned.

When I turn the AC on, the RPMs do not increase and the fans do not turn on. I checked all fuses under the hood and driver side kick plate and all appear to still be good, the AC belt is good, and all terminals are connected. At this point I'm thinking there is an electrical problem which prevents the fans from turning on and the clutch engaging.

I've read a lot of threads on here about similar issues.. and all point to the AC relay.. Does anyone know where the AC relay is located?

Cant afford to take it to the dealership, so I'm on my own to fix the problem. Any help with diagnosing the problem is appreciated.

The self test you started also has a check for the a/c compressor. You should hear it click on and off during test. Also fans should run low/med/high. Sometimes cooling fan windings become weak and the cooling fans will spin at a very slow speed

Have you checked the Freon? Low Freon will make the compressor stop working - however if its cooler out ac will turn on and run cold. I suggest running to autozone and trying to get a static pressure and then trying to get a running pressure. Worth a shot and the gauge is free to try..
