My search brought up discussions of the problems, but no mention of where parts were purchased, other than a reference to a place that no longer repairs the modules.

My 05 base model's ABS pump started running with the car off. I disconnected the battery and the motor stayed off when I reconnected it, however it stayed on for a few seconds after a short trip later in the evening.

Nissan want's $1200 for a new one and I think I found a new unit for ~$700 online.

Is that as good as it gets? What should I look for if I get a salvage unit?

Called around and found one at a junk yard for ~$300..with 98k miles.

It's on its way.
